I am a Postdoctoral research fellow in Zhejiang University with Prof. Mingjian Yu. My work has focused on understanding the influences of ecological variables that shaping plant distribution and assembly, at both community and landscape scales, especially from a traits based approach. Due to the effect of global land use change, my research shift to more focus on how habitat fragmentation affects biodiversity and how it flow on to ecosystem functioning.
My research sites located in the Thousand Island Lake, Zhejiang Province, China. I am currently visiting University of Cambridge in Prof. David Coomes' Lab. Research interests
1. Distribution patterns of functional traits. 2. Habitat fragmentation effect on biodiversity & Ecosystem Functioning. 3. Ecology and society related subjects. Education
PhD in Plant Science: Plant Geography Lab, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 2009-2014 Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Yunnan University, 2005-2009
